Here are some popular questions related to financing trailers:

Q: What is the longest you can make payments?

A: 60 Months for trailers that are over a certain amount (most dumps are)

Q: Is there any early pay-off penalty?

A: No.

Q: I have less than good credit. Will putting money down help me get approved?

A: In most cases, there is no requirement for an amount of money down. Putting money down simply helps reduce the loan amount. Sometimes having a co-signer helps.

Q: Can you use an ITN number for the app?

No. Sheffield needs your social security number to loan to you.

Q: Can I apply for a Sheffield loan with my business?

Yes. Sheffield will make the business owner sign a pass-through document which means they would be held accountable for the debt.

Q: Can I use my credit union to do a loan?

A: Yes. In most cases, we can and will work with your credit union of choice to get a loan done for your trailer. Please call our sales staff to confirm beforehand.
